Cabinet Refurbishing
Refinish / Refacing

Refinishing and Refacing is often used by homeowners who want to update their cabinets without replacing the entire units.
Refacing
Veneers are overlaid onto existing cabinets. These new veneers can be prefinished or can be ready to receive new paint or stain. Often doors and drawer faces are replaced.
Refinishing
If cabinets are in good sound condition they can be sanded and refinished with either a new toned stain, or paint. Again doors and drawer faces can be replaced.
In both cases, the existing cabinets remain intact eliminating the need for any countertop or flooring costs.
Cabinet refacing and refinishing is a popular choice for many homeowners because it is less expensive and faster than replacing all of the cabinets in the kitchen. The existing cabinet units must be structurally sound in order to be candidates for refurbishing, but many old cabinets meet the requirements without issues.
