Types Of Bathroom Countertops:

Granite Bathroom Countertops

LUXURIOUS. NATURAL. HEAT & STAIN RESISTANT

Granite is one of the most popular natural stones used for bathrooms. It’s a premium building material that will bring an air of luxury into your space. Granite is well-known for its classic beauty and durability and is an investment that will add to the resale value of your home

PROS:

Granite is one of the hardest materials in the world and is scratch-proof and heat and moisture resistant. Each slab of granite is completely unique and granite countertops are available in a wide range of colors and designs.

CONS

As with most natural stones, granite requires occasional sealing to ensure stain resistance. Since granite countertops are very heavy, they also require professional installation and may crack if not properly installed

Quartz Bathroom Countertops

TRENDY. STYLISH, PRECISION-FABRICATED

Quartz countertops offer the iconic appearance of natural stone slabs, without the maintenance. They’re available in a wide range of colors and are one of the trendiest bathroom countertop options. Today, quartz countertops are often the top choice for modern bathroom renovations. Since quartz countertops are precision-fabricated, they’re also free from natural imperfections often found in natural stone.

PROS:

Quartz countertops are non-porous. This makes them resistant to scratches, stains, moisture, and bacteria. Unlike natural stone, this low-maintenance material doesn’t require sealing. It’s also very easy to clean

CONS:

A true luxury material, quartz bathroom countertops are often comparable in price to high-end marble and granite. Quartz is also somewhat less heat-resistant than natural stone, requiring care when using hot styling tools.

Marble Countertops

UNIQUE. NATURAL. ELEGANT

Genuine marble has a stunning beauty and a truly unique appearance. It’s often heavily veined and is available in an almost infinite variety of patterns and colors. This premium material will bring an undeniable elegance to your bathroom. It’s a smart investment that will elevate your space and increase your home’s value.

PROS:

Marble bathroom countertops are both waterproof and heat resistant. The character and richness of marble make this material perfect for creating an eye-catching focal point in your bathroom

CONS:

Marble is a relatively soft, porous stone. As a result, it’s vulnerable to stains, scratches, and dents. It’s important to protect your marble bathroom countertops with a high-quality sealant at least once or twice a year.

Quartzite Bathroom Countertops

DURABLE. PRACTICAL. GORGEOUS

Quartzite countertops are an extremely popular choice for modern bathroom remodels. Made from 100% natural stone, these countertops offer the beauty of marble and the strength of granite. Each quartzite slab offers a unique look that will complement any bathroom aesthetic.

PROS:

Quartzite is an extremely hard material that is resistant to heat, scratches, stains, etching, and UV rays. These strong and resilient bathroom countertops are ideal for homeowners who love the look of natural stone but want more durability.

CONS

Like all natural stone, quartzite requires regular sealing to protect it from stains and etching. It’s also only available in naturally created colors such as whites, beiges, browns, and blacks.
